Well to summarise the basics quickly. I put in a cash offer 2k over the previous highest offer... and for some strange reason my offer was never given to the vendor???
Now why would you not put a higher offer through? Maybe the estate agent knew the buyer? or maybe he was getting some kind of back hand deal? I can't prove either of these theorys at the moment but more information will be put up here within the next few days.
The flat still hasnt been sold so i am in the process of tracking down the vendor to explain what has happened.
Maybe they are the Worst estate agent in brighton!
